Overview
What the Clerx connector is, who it is for, and what it can and cannot do.
Clerx answers your firm's phone calls and chats with an AI receptionist. The Clerx connector lets you ask an AI assistant, such as Claude, about that activity in plain language.
For example, you can ask:
- "What calls came in today?"
- "Who left a message for Sarah this week?"
- "What consultations are booked for tomorrow?"
- "How many calls are left on our plan?"
Who it is for
The connector is for staff at firms that use Clerx. You can check calls, messages, appointments, chats and plan usage without opening the Clerx dashboard.
You need a Clerx account. Clerx must also have turned the connector on for your firm.
Read-only
The connector only reads. Your AI assistant can look at your firm's Clerx data. It cannot change anything in Clerx. It cannot send messages, book or cancel meetings, or call anyone.
Every request is carried out against Clerx under your own sign-in. It uses the dashboard access you already have at your firm. It cannot reach another firm's data.
