Legal Terms

What you agree to when you connect Clerx to an AI assistant.

Read these terms before you connect Clerx to an AI assistant.

  1. Your firm's data is sent to the AI assistant you connect. When you ask a question, Clerx returns the matching calls, messages, appointments, chats or plan usage to that assistant. This can include client names, phone numbers, summaries and full call and chat transcripts. The assistant's provider handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy. Clerx does not control it. Review those terms first, and decide whether using an AI assistant with client information fits your firm's professional and confidentiality duties.
  2. AI output can be wrong. An assistant can misread, leave out or invent details. Check anything important against the original call, message or chat in Clerx.
  3. It is not legal advice. Nothing an assistant says through this connector is legal advice.
  4. The connector is read-only. It changes nothing in Clerx. It does not send messages, book meetings or contact anyone.
  5. Access follows your sign-in. Every request runs under your own Clerx account and your firm. You can see only your firm's data, and only while your account is active and has dashboard access.
  6. You can disconnect at any time. Open the connector settings in your AI assistant, select Clerx, and choose Disconnect. Disconnecting stops future access. It does not retrieve data your assistant already received. That data stays with the assistant and its provider. Use the provider's own controls to remove it.
